Canada day is celebrated on July 1. On the scale from the most peaceful = 1 to the least peaceful nations = 158 on earth, Canada is no. 6 right near the top. I fear to remind you where the United States stands. Can you guess?

derived from Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

ta houlette et ton bâton me rassurent.
Tu dresses devant moi une table,
en face de mes adversaires;

based on the puissant poem by William Blake (1757-1827), Tyger, Tyger

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp,
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!

When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

William Blake

italiano:

ancient languages:

animus sum tuus

Hittite:

takku alpaš essi
takku kardiš essi
takku kardiš esmi

literal translation:

if you are my cloud
if you are my heart
if I am your heart

NOTICE the transparent connection with the Hittite verb “es” = to be
with Latin “esse”, the French “être”, the italian “essere”, Spanish
& Portuguese “estar”, and I could go on and on. Not only that, the
third person singular of the English verb “to be” is “is” and the
German third person singular is “ist”! Astonishing eh? What this
all means is that all of the aforementioned Latin and modern
language verbs for “to be” are merely dialects of the original
ancient Indo-European Hittite “es”! Hittite is the oldest Indo-
European language dating from 3,500 BCE, i.e. 5,500 years ago!
So there is nothing new under the sun!

And what about the Hittite word for “heart” = kardiš. Sound
familiar? You bet! French = “le coeur”, Italian = “cuore”,
Corsican “core”, Spanish = “corazon”, Portuguese = “coração”.
I needn't belabour the point. Once again, all of the aforementioned
modern Romance language nouns for Hittite “ kardiš” are merely
dialects of the original ancient Indo-European Hittite. Hittite
is the oldest Indo-European language dating from 3,500 BCE,
i.e. 5,500 years ago! So there is nothing new under the sun!

Spiders are vital to the environment, because they kill vermin such as flies, mosquitoes etc. I find it deplorable that so many people are so afraid of spiders that they kill them. I think spiders are beautiful. And they are not insects. They are 8 legged arachnids who kill vermin insects such as flies, mosquitoes etc. So if you are afraid of spiders and you find one in your house, trap it, take it outside and set it free.

Washington Post:

Don’t kill that spider in your house. It’s unlikely to bite you and is good for the environment. If you truly can’t stand that spider in your house, apartment, garage or wherever, instead of smashing it, try to capture it and release it outside.
