autumn haiku d'automne – what the wind sows = ce que sème le vent

what the wind sows
the whirlwind reaps –
who stills the wind?

ce que sème le vent
la tempête récolte –
qui apaise le vent ?

Osée 8:7
Qui sème le vent récolte la tempête.

winter haiku – I went golfing = j'ai joué au golf

I went golfing
here yesterday and...
I froze me arse off

j'ai joué au golf
ici hier et ...
j'ai gelé le cul

This haiku breaks 2 cardinal haiku “rules”:
1. It is in the past tense... naughty, naughty!
2. The second line ends with a hanging conjunction “and”,
but in this case it is I believe justifiable. Can you see why?

winter haiku – the shutters clatter = nos volets cliquettent

our shutters clatter
my teeth chatter –
your ardent embrace

nos volets cliquettent
mes dents claquent –
ton étreinte ardente

I'll give you a cuff

je te gifle
